Apple Cider Vinegar is a comfortable, old-fashioned home remedy that users say will cure arthritis and high blood pressure, boost energy and the immune system and cure you dog of allergies. While research has not
yet proven these claims, thousands swear by a daily dose of apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar contains Vitamin C, E and A, plus some B vitamins. It also contains calcium, magnesium,  potassium and other trace elements and nutrients. Potassium is great for lowering blood pressure.

According to users, Apple Cider benefits are:

How Much Apple Cider Do You Need?

Two tablespoons of apple cider three times daily, mixed in 8 ounces of water for optimal benefits.

Some advise sipping apple cider vinegar over the course of the day to keep the body detoxified. However, if you choose this method be aware that the acid in apple cider vinegar can harm tooth enamel. It’s best to sip over 5 minutes or so and  brush your teeth or eat a piece of cheese afterward.

Which Apple Cider is Best?

The very best apple cider vinegar is organic, with the “mother” still in it. Store bought apple cider is more acidic and could cause gastric upsets or increase problems with tooth enamel. Liquid apple cider is preferable to pill form.

You can also mix your apple cider with tea, grape juice or apple juice if you don’t like the taste when mixed with water. Try different combinations until you find one you do like.

Other Uses For Apple Cider:

Use Apple Cider Vinegar for Dogs

Apple cider vinegar can also be used for your dog if it has itchy skin or as a flea remedy. Put into a spray bottle and spray onto your  dog’s coat. Work it into the fur and allow to air dry. If your dog’s itching has caused broken skin, dilute the apple cider vinegar with an equal part water and then spray. Many report itching stops within 24 hours.

Add a little apple cider to your dog’s drinking water to help relieve allergies, flea problems and arthritis.

You can also use apple cider vinegar as a final rinse in your dog’s bath to keep fleas and itchy skin at bay. Apple cider vinegar will leave your dog’s coat shiny and soft.
