card in my mom's recipe box.
I remember this carmel popcorn
from when I was a child and
my grandfather loved it.

Caramel Popcorn Recipe
Ingredients
Popped corn
1 c brown sugar
1 stick margarine
1/3 c light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda
Put popped corn in 9x13 inch pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray or greased. Use amount of popped corn that can be stirred without spilling over sides of pan.
Boil sugar, margarine and corn syrup for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and baking soda and blend well.
Pour over popped corn and coat well.
Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool and eat. If you're giving this popcorn as a gift, wrap in colored plastic wrap made for food and tie with a pretty holiday ribbon.
Delicious for movie night or bag up in brightly colored plastic bags and give as a gift from your kitchen.
